  2. IOBC Database on Selectivity of Pesticides
  3. SESAME: IOBC Inspection Protocol and Software
  4. Ideabook on Ecological Infrastructures

1. Green and Yellow Lists of Plant Protection Measures

With the updating of the basic conceptual documents in 2004, a modern concept of the traditional "Green List of Pesticides" is presented. The new format of the Green List is now applied by IOBC endorsed organisations and considers the logical sequence of indirect plant protection measures (= prevention), monitoring and highly selective direct plant protection measures (= control).

3. SESAME: IOBC Inspection Protocol and its multifunctional software

This tool has been developed in 2005 by the Commission in close collaboration with three IOBC-endorsed organisations in order to apply the IP standards 2004 at the organisation's farm inspection level. It consists basically of a simplified checklist for the self-audit of the farmer (ca. 50 check points), of a more detailed data base for the inspection body, and a visual display ("radar") of the farm performance in major control areas, i.e. agronomic/environmental aspects, food safety aspects, social and ethical aspects, and management aspects. Whereas concept and general contents of the inspection tool is published here, the software is tailor-made for and exclusively available to IOBC endorsed growers' organisations.
