Members of IOBC/WPRS are individuals, and governmental, scientific or commercial organisations from 24 countries of Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
IOBC/WPRS has several types of memberships:
Members of IOBC/WPRS are any persons carrying individual or honorary membership, or covered by the membership of their employing institution. Members have access to all working group meetings and benefit from a reduction in the registration fee. Only members can hold any function in the activities of IOBC/WPRS.
Convenors of Working, Study Groups and Commissions are granted free Individual Membership starting with the calendar year immediately after endorsement of their election by the Council, so to honour their contribution.

Individual membership is open to any person interested in biological and/or integrated control.
Individual members participate in the decision process of IOBC/WPRS. They are consulted:
Each individual may cast her / his vote when physically present at a consultation organized during a meeting, or by written answer on specific forms for ballots organized by mail.

An individual Member has the right of one vote during the General Assembly of IOBC/WPRS, which she/he may express only when physically present or by written answer to a poll organized by order of the Council.
The Individual membership fee is currently 75 EURO per year (including an individual membership to IOBC-Global of 10 EURO per year). According to the decision taken by the General Assembly of IOBC/WPRS in October 2009, this fee shall increase to 90 EURO per year as of 2012.
This includes, in addition to the benefits of an individual membership, a subscription to the international journal "BioControl" for personal use (not for libraries).
The Individual membership fee with subscription to "BioControl" is currently 175 EURO per year.
Institutional Members are public research / teaching institutions. Their contribution provides a significant part of the funds necessary for IOBC/WPRS to sustain its activities.
All scientists of the institution are included under an Institutional Membership and thus can benefit from .
Institutional Members receive a CD and a printed copy of all "IOBC/WPRS Bulletins" published in the year of membership (ca. 10-15 volumes per year).
They also receive a maximum of four subscriptions to "BioControl" at a substantially reduced cost. However, if less than 4 subscriptions are necessary the number needed should be indicated. This will enable IOBC/WPRS to redirect more funds to its activities.

Supporting members are small institutions, libraries, and companies. Supporting membership covers all employees of the unit holding the membership.

The Individual membership fee with subscription to "BioControl" is 450 EURO per year.
Honorary Membership may be conferred by the Council of IOBC/WPRS on anyone who has made outstanding contributions in the field of biological and integrated control or to the IOBC/WPRS.
Honorary Members may vote in the elections and consultations of IOBC/WPRS (article X of IOBC/WPRS statutes).
