Short CV of Brigitte Mauch-Mani
Brigitte Mauch-Mani is associate Professor at the University of Neuchâtel, Faculty of Sciences, Institute of Biology, Laboratory of Molecular and Cell Biology. She teaches in the field of phytopathology and is responsible for biosafety.
Her research revolves around the mechanisms leading to induced resistance against biotic and abiotic stresses and especially priming in plants. She uses the model plant Arabidopsis as well as crop plants such as maize or tomato for her research.
She joined the IOBC in 1999 and was involved in the IOBC-WPRS working group "Induced resistance in Plants against Insects and diseases" from the initial founding meeting on and has been a member of the scientific organizing committee of this working group since then. She has also organized two conferences for this working group.
