Short CV of Lene Sigsgaard
Lene Sigsgaard is associate professor at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty Science, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences (link to university: http://www.ku.dk and to department: http://plen.ku.dk/english), where she has worked since 2001. From 2013 she heads the Section for Organismal Biology. The aim of the research is to contribute to the development of biological control of insect pests in outdoor crops. Research focus is interactions between plants, insects and their natural enemies, principally predators.
She joined IOBC in 1996 as member of the IOBC-WPRS working group on cereals, from 1998-2001 she was member of IOBC-APRS and in 2001 she joined the IOBC-WPRS working group on integrated protection of fruit crops. Lene is liaison for the working group Landscape management for functional biodiversity.
