Short CV of Lene Sigsgaard

Lene Sigsgaard is associate professor with special responsibility for research and development at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Department of Ecology, the Zoology group (KVL-link: www.kvl.dk, link to Department of Ecology: http://www.ecol.kvl.dk ), where she worked since 2001. Her key qualifications are natural regulation and biological control of insect pests in outdoor crops.
Research focus is interactions between plants, insects and their natural enemies, principally predators. Her experience includes tropical and temperate systems, annual and -from 2001- perennial systems.
Since 2003 board member, International Advisory Board for Research Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Pomology, (EU-FP5), ‘PomoCentre’, Skierniewice, Poland.

She joined IOBC in 1996 as member of the IOBC-WPRS working group on cereals, from 1998-2001 she was member of IOBC-APRS and 2001 she joined the IOBC-WPRS working group on integrated protection of fruit crops.
