Short CV of Enrique Quesada-Moraga

Professor E. Quesada-Moraga from the Agricultural and Forestry Engineering College, Department of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences of the University of Cordoba (Spain). obtained his PhD in 1999, and after 24-month Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Comparative Pathology Research Station (INRA, France), he got a contract within the frame of the prestigious Ramon y Cajal Spanish Research program. He became Associate Professor of Agricultural Entomology in 2008 and Full Professor in 2011. Presently, he is Full professor of Agricultural Entomology in the Agricultural and Forestry Engineering College of the University of Cordoba. He has got in last 15 years international reputation for his work on the control of insect pests using entomopathogenic fungi (EF) and their insecticidal proteins. He has published 35 refereed papers (Science Citation Index) in high ranking journals in the field, many additional papers in international refereed Journals, several book chapters, proceedings for the IOBC bulletin, and articles for growers and the public on the agricultural and biotechnological relevance of EF. Dr Enrique Quesada has effectively managed several competitive projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology, the Regional Government of Andalusia (Spain) and has also participated in several EU biocontrol funded projects.

Recently he has organised the Fourth International Meeting of the IOBC Working Group Integrated Protection of Olive Crops (June 2009).
